Inspirational

Well, I've now been in business for just over two months and things rae ticking over quite nicely. Getting at least two if not more translations a week and I'm finding the more I do the quicker I get. Not coincindental I'm sure.
Yesterday I went to my first business "networking" event which was interesting to say the least. Very imsiprational speaker there, Hetaher Gorringe who is Managing Director of www.wigglywigglers.com who really rates blogging, facebook, podcasts and other new media as a way of getting yourself out there and known on the web. Apparently the more you blog the more likely you are to be googled when someone is seraching for your product. So here I am blogging away. Maybe someone will read this in the distant future and wonder whether it was worth me doing it. But I'll plug away in the hope that it mkight get me somewhere.
My latest acquisitions re "specialisms" in languages...I did a massive car electronics translation for a translation agency in India earlier this week which was hard work, but I learnt from it. Am now working my way through a partnership proposal for an agency in Trieste, Italy. Much more straight forward and up my alley!!
Anyway, time for bed.
